Observation Lounge

Explorer's Lounge

I am pleased to admit that some amenities "imported" from the    Vista –class ships have found a better implementation on the Viking ocean ships.

The Forward Observation Lounge (called "Explorer's Lounge") is an outstanding piece of modern naval architecture.
It's pretty obvious that Viking designers were building an ideal cruise ship. This is how I "read" the book called "Viking Star".

The two-deck high Explorer's Lounge is a very special part where they succeeded the most.

A few notes.

Have you heard about the Mamsen's Buffet?
It's a part of the Lounge.

The ship does not have a separate library.
Instead, many books can be seen in various locations throughout the ship. This is how Viking does the library.

The forward viewing deck is accessible from the Lounge.

We are about to open the door and enter this magnificent place...
Enjoy the tour!
